  1. Hello! This is one of the areas that my research plan will branch out to. I am research how to effectively incorporate technology into the classroom, specifically the iPad. My district is supplying the high school students with an iPad but my sons high school is going to use the BYOD method. I will have two different views of the same practice. It wouold be great to stay in touch over this period of time.

One of our concerns is what is going to happen with student involvement? The question is will they be more inclined to participate since it's some sort of technology or have we just given them an open invitation to be off task. We will soon find out :) Good luck!

  2. Azle,

I work with children in the primary grades, so the BYOD is not something I would do much research in and am unable to offer any suggestions. But I did notice you were using Celly.com and wanted to let you know that we use polleverywhere.com in our staff meetings and thought you might want to check it out to see if it could be of use to you in your project. It is anonymous and saves your data. The kids will love it because they all get to text their opinions or answers.

    Good luck!

  3. Elizabeth,

Great job so far with your action research plan. I'm glad you chose a topic that specifically speaks to you, and technology use (or misuse) in education is a relevant and important topic, in general. Keep up the excellent work!
